I went to Lane Bryant in search of a new pair of shorts for summer. The smallest size I owned previously was a 20, which I've been wearing in my last couple of progress photos, but of course they are much too big now. I grabbed an 18 and a 16 to take into the dressing room with me. I felt optimistic so I tried the 16's first.
To my shock and amazement, they were too big. I changed and went to grab a size 14, figuring they would be too tight and I'd be in between the two sizes. To my even greater shock and amazement, they fit perfectly. Size 14. Fit. Perfectly.
I cried in the dressing room.
After collecting myself I decided to buy some new jeans too. The 14's seemed a bit snug so I bought 16, but they are actually kind of baggy so with those I think I'm right in between. But still... walking out with a 16 and a 14, I felt like I was walking on air.
Even though Lane Bryan's sizes run generous, the important thing is when I started I was wearing size 28 from that store. I have gone from their biggest size to their smallest size!!!!!
It still amazes me how much has changed. Today, I went grocery shopping and I had to pick up some items we were asked to bring to a party this weekend. Chips and soda... two things I haven't bought in almost a year. Just walking down those two aisles of the store was a strangely foreign experience. They were so unfamiliar and I couldn't believe how weird it felt.
That was a good reminder... things HAVE changed, so much. That even though lately I have struggled with some of my food choices... I have still come a very long way and there are TONS of things I do not even TOUCH anymore such as chips, soda, most fried foods and most fast food, that pretty much used to make up my ENTIRE diet.
This makes me feel good.
However, that's the bright side and I do need to look at the not so bright side also. My eating in Chicago wasn't great... I did as well as I could for the most part, but I had way too many sweets and desserts. When I got home I had gained 3 lbs... not too shabby for a vacation. Since I did a 5K while I was there and got a great workout at the waterpark, I'm sure that helped me not to gain even more. But then I was only home 1 day and went up to our timeshare with my husband. We took all kinds of good food with us, planning only to eat out for our favorite sushi a couple times and eat everything else at home. Unfortunately we both went into pig-out vacation mode and we ate candy, popcorn and sweets.
Night before last as we were going to bed, I exploded, telling him how awful I felt about how we were eating. He felt the same way. We realize there are both ups and downs when it comes to going through this together - we like to be bad together. But we can also talk about it and pull ourselves out of it together. When we got up the next morning, we threw away all the remaining candy, popcorn and junk (hello s'mores!) that we still had.
I told him what scares me the most is not gaining a couple pounds - I know that is temporary and easy to get rid of. What scares me is the lack of control I have been feeling over this behavior. It's wayyyy to familiar, and i know exactly where it will take me.
I swore I'd never say no to anything... but I think at least for a while, I have to say no to sweets. I need to get them out of my system. Other than my Starbucks twice per week, no other sweets. No candy, no chocolate, no desserts, no cookies, etc. And also watching my carbs more again. I am planning to be very strict about this at least until our one year appointment (which we are moving to June, at Ian's one year). Once I have all the junk out of my system, then I can decide when and IF to bring any back in. I used to be okay with a little here and there and I hope I can do that again. But right now, I can't... so I need to abstain. I never thought I would do this... but for now it is necessary. If I have it around I go nuts with it and can't stop myself. Somewhere along the way I have lost that. I think part of it is physical - when it's in your system you want more more more. Part of it is mental, and I had that part good so I think the physical of having it in my system is what is making it a lot harder. So for now... out of my system.
I've now been eating "right" for two days and I already feel so much better. This is how it SHOULD be. This is how it WILL be.
I'm not beating myself up, but rather picking myself up and moving forward to live the life I want to live :) I have more changes to make, more pounds to lose and more life to live! Whoo!

The Arm Issue and Shopping
Losing 100 pounds has done a lot of awesome things for my body. But one NOT so awesome thing - my arms. I actually think they looked better when I was my heaviest LOL. I had no qualms about wearing tank tops when I was big. I had a 'get over it' attitude about things like that. But.... now? They are empty and saggy and wrinkly....and they don't match the rest of me. They don't go with my clothing size. The just don't look right.
They look totally fine when I hold my arm up and look from the side (lol):

And when I put them down, still not too bad. Bigger, but I could live with it:

But then there is the back view when they aren't against my body:

And the front view when they aren't against my body:

It's just not pretty. Some day, I deifnitely want plastics to correct this problem. I mean, I was happy in tank tops before and now I've lost 100 lbs and I'm not. It's not fair! When I get to my goal weight, I am definitely going to pursue plastics, at least for my arms. It's visible and I want to be able to wear summer clothing.
However, that is a long ways away. I will have to get through this summer with the arms I've got, and possibly another summer too. So I am starting to buy lightweight pieces I can wear on top of tank tops. It's a look I can make work for me, especially with the cute scarves I've been buying up lately.
Oh and if you're wondering, yes I know it isn't summer yet. But we had a string of 60 degree days this week that got me in the mood :)
Last week I bought this cream colored piece. It's very lightweight and so far looks great with everything. Doesn't hurt it looks like it could be crocheted, too :)
Today I got thise rose colored tank top, and I tried it on with the same piece. Quite happy with the combo.
I also found a cream colored cardigan today I fell in love with, and I already turned it into a bunch of outfits. This is the first one, a navy tank top with the cardigan and a scarf that has navy, cream, aqua and light blue.
I wore the cardigan and also brought all my new scarves in my purse when I went to Kohl's. I found a purple top and tried it on with my cardigan and another scarf and made this outfit:
Also have lots more outfits I made with the cardigan and scarves but those are all the ones I have photos of.
The other type of clothing i"m going for this time of year are very lightweight tops but with longer sleeves. Since I'm cooler now they should work for me even in the summer:
I am usually an advocate of "love your body the way it is"... so I have to admit I feel a little like a sellout for falling into the "I need to hide my arms" camp. But I feel it is justified with all the saggyness I am experiencing now. I will continue to do everyhting I can to tone up, and i know time will help as well, and possibly plastics someday. But for now I feel more comfortable if I hide them, and I think that's what is important. I want to feel confident and FEEL like I've lost as much weight as I have... and when my arms show I just feel self conscious. That's not what I deserve to feel with what I have accomplished. So, here's to new clothes that help me feel confident :)

My Day in Pictures
Breakfast :) Banana, peanut butter and granola on 1/2 a sandwich thin.
Worked on my Single Rib crochet square for my sampler blanket while I hung out with my mom.
Got this cute outfit at Old Navy! I got a bunch of cute scarves that I'm excited about.
Had coffee with my dad at Starbucks :)
Went into Kohl's and brought my cardigan and scarves in with me. Found a couple more cute tops to go with some of the scarves!
This is what I've decided to do so that you guys don't have to worry about following my other blog. I'll keep it going there like I have been, updating it on the go throughout my day and then combine everything here for y'all ;)

8 Months
Today is my 8 month "surgaversary"... I wish I actually HAD something to report, but I don't... lol. I am STILL bouncing between 211-212 every time I weigh. I was having a lot of pain so had a hard time working out, but the past two weeks I've worked out 4 days per week. Nothing changed. When I didn't work out... nothing changed. My body seems to be very happy right here. While I do want to get things moving, I am not stressing too much about it because I feel like my body is going through an adjustment period.
I do plan to do new progress photos and measurements for 8 months over this weekend since I haven't done them since my 6 month. I'm hoping I'll see some change in measurements even though my weight hasn't been changing. :)
Also, we had our 6 month appointment with our surgeon last week - yes, 6 month. It was VERY late because it got postponed a couple of times. It was supposed to be Thanksgiving week originally. Oh well.
The appointment was VERY positive. My surgeon did a double take looking at my chart. He said "we did this in MAY?? and you've lost HOW MUCH??" He was thrilled and said he would have expected this amount at one year. He also said my plateau is not the big deal that I've been thinking it is and just give it time, get back into exercise, continue on the same path and everything will work itself out :)
He wants me to try to lose 15 more lbs by my one year... works for me. Hopefully I can do more, but who knows... at this rate, maybe not. My weight hasn't changed at all in almost two months. But I keep reminding myself that maintaining is a great accomplishment too. The fact I am just living my life and not gaining any weight is a great thing :) :)
I REALLY will try to catch up on blogging over the next week - my best friend is coming into town for a long visit a week from today and I want to have some blogging done before then!!
For now, here's a couple photos of me from last weekend :) As an example of where I'm at at 8 months out. Although I'm in my puffy clothes since we were out in the snow all day :)
A few notes about the wardrobe... I made the hat :) Still need to blog about that. Also, I was able to buy snow pants. They are men's XL but they run small, usually in men's pants I'd wear an L. They were out of women's so I didn't even get to try any on. But my husband and I both bought snow pants... in past years, we could never fit into any!!! Also - my new snow boots are a Women's 9.5 - not wide width... not mens... just NORMAL women's 9.5... this is a huge accomplishment in my world too.
Another milestone this month... I can now wrap a regular bath towel around myself. It covers me and it stays. I am not sure when this happened because I hadn't even tried it before... but now it fits :) I did actually take a pic... but I am not sharing it here LOL.
That's all for now... more soon :)

Week 26 Update
No weight change to report this week. Booooo on sugar. The good news is I have cut WAY down and I am finally starting to feel the sugar cravings go away now that I've been really focusing on it for 3 days. :) I've been focusing on good protein choices, getting my water and cutting out the candy and other sugary items that were creeping in.
My SIX MONTH mark is coming up on Saturday!! So I will be weighing again and MAYBE there will be a change lol but I won't count on it too much. My post may or may not be ON Saturday because we have a really busy weekend planned.
Workouts this Week
Was sick for 4 days out of this week, had 2 workout days, and then really bad hip pain today. So not the best workout week, but at least I can say I worked out on the days I felt well. :)
Tuesday 11/16 - Leslie Sansone 3 Mile Weight Loss Bootcamp DVD (45 mins)
Wednesday 11/17 - Leslie Sansone 5 Day Slim Down DVD - Warm up, 4th Mile - Trim the Tummy, Cool Down (23 mins)
By the way, I will soon be posting a review of these DVDs :)
Hoping to get many more workouts in for this coming week!!
New Foods to Share
This week shall be referred to as "the week I accidentally bought tortillas when I already had a brand new package at home... now what?" :) I had been previously eating "tuna melts" made on these tortillas, and that was delicious, but I decided to try some new combinations this week! The tortillas I use are Mission Carb Balance Whole Wheat Tortillas - Fajita Size (which are the smallest).
Pizza Quesadilla
Hubby invented this. He made his with shredded 2% Italian and shredded 2% Mexican cheese, about 6 slices of Hormel Turkey Pepperoni, and Oregano.
I had a jar of spaghetti sauce in the fridge from when we made pizza burger - so I added some sauce to mine! I heated it up in the microwave first and added it into my quesadilla before folding it over. Messy to eat but DELICIOUS. I also put garlic and a little parmesan in mine.
Turkey Melt
Pretty simple - turkey and cheese! I ripped 3 slices of turkey breast up into several pieces and put them in the skillet first, turning them a couple times til they were warmed up and just slightly browned. Then I added them into my tortilla with some american cheese and grilled it up in the skillet.
As tasty as it looks, it tasted even BETTER. So yummy!!
These both came out great and now I am thinking of lots of possibilities. Ham or chicken would both be great, changing the variety of cheese and adding other things into it. I also thought of doing breakfast versions, like say, ham, egg beater and cheese. So maybe I will have more to share next week :)
Adventures in Shopping
Went back to Savers last weekend and picked out a couple of dresses. I don't have pics of both of them yet, but here is one. It is a light robin's egg blue with very dark chocolate brown. I originally bought a brown belt to go with it and help break up the pattern, but the belt broke... so I'm holding it up in these pics. I am headless because I still had a towel on my head and no makeup :)
Not bad for a $12 dress huh?
Since the belt broke and I didn't really want to try to find another one, I got creative hunting through my closet. I decided that this dark brown piece I had looked great with the dress!
Now I just needed shoes!!! (The silver ones in the first photo are cheapies I bought in desperation once and they are supremely uncomfortable!)
This week I've shopped at many shoe stores and have discovered I USUALLY fit into a MEDIUM WIDTH shoe now. This is ridiculous to me, having come from EXTRA EXTRA WIDE WIDTHS. Not all, but most medium widths fit me in a 9, 9.5, or 10. I still have many issues like the bone spur on my left heel and the fact one foot is bigger than the other, so it is still hard to find something but at least i stand a CHANCE now! Today I found one pair of brown strappy shoes for $5, and a pair of chocolate brown boots for $30.
The photo quality is CRAPPY because I took this at night with a dim overhead light in our room and tried to lighten the pic. I'll be sure to get better pics later :)
This is my FIRST EVER PAIR OF KNEE HIGH BOOTS. EVER!!! They are VERY VERY stretchy in the calf which is the only reason they fit. None of the other ones I tried on fit, although some came close. A couple more inches off my calves and I should be able to wear any boot I want... and I can't wait because man, I like boots!!!
That's it for this week. Hope to be back with my 6 month update over the weekend!!

Savers!!
My update for this week will be a little late because I've had a BUSY day! Today was my weigh-in (will report tomorrow) and then I had to leave home fairly early to pick up my sister-in-law and take her to get an xray. She had called me yesterday evening and said she fell at work and sprained her ankle pretty severely. So I picked her up to go get an Xray... then grabbed some coffee and took her to Redbox so she'd have movies to watch while she stayed home and rested her ankle. Poor thing.
Then I set off on an all-day adventure, although I had no idea it was going to be all day. I had heard about this store called Savers which is a thrift store similar to Goodwill. I looked up their website last night and it just so happened that Thursday was a 50% off sale for Veterans Day! I decided that made it a really good time to go check it out. I had been wanting to do some thrift store shopping anyway while we are going through various sizes so that we don't spend too much money on clothes.

All of their locations are somewhat far from me. First I went north up to their Boulder location (19 miles from home)... found 3 tops for myself and picked up a bunch of things for my husband to try. Then I went from Boulder all the way down to Aurora (37 miles!!) only to find that location had been closed down! (Or so I thought - I just found out it MOVED. Argh.) Thanks for the heads up, website :-P Then I went to Littleton (another 15 miles) - oh my gosh this location ROCKED. It was huge. I was in there for 3 hours or more and didn't even see everything I wanted to see. I got tons of great stuff for both myself and my husband. Then I drove home, another 24 miles.

SO... my little day of shopping fun somehow covered more than 6 hours and nearly 100 miles of driving... LOL!!!!!! Good thing I had packed my lunch box with 3 meals in it, and two water bottles. It's like I KNEW. :)
Here are just a couple of the pieces I bought, I didn't take pics of everything I tried on.

Teal top $2, brown vneck sweater $3, brown button up sweater $3.50
So I have to say I am now a HUGE Savers fan. I think I'll be doing all of my shopping there for a while. Wow it was so great! In the end I have some things to return that didn't work for hubby, and a couple I decided not to keep after all... but here is what we ended up with:

IAN'S HAUL: 3 long sleeve shirts, 3 short sleeve shirts, 1 pair jeans & 1 pair athletic shorts (minus the athletic shorts, because he's wearing them) = $13.50

MY HAUL: 4 long sleeve shirts, 4 sweaters, 3 short sleeve shirts, 1 jacket, 1 hoodie, 1 scarf, 1 pair pj pants = $41.50
Love it!!! ALL of this for $55!!
Tomorrow is going to be busy too. I have to take my SIL to the doctor to go over her Xrays, do the grocery shopping I didn't do today because I was busy with Savers lol, and do a few loads of laundry. But when I get to the laundry part, and catching up on my TV shows from this week, I will do my weekly update video and blog post :) So stay tuned!

Here's the obligatory photo from the scale :)
I will expand more on my thoughts from this month when I do my video... but definitely my loss was slower this month. Challenges? I was sick with strep and ear infection. Lost 2 lbs during that time but they stayed gone so I think they were real. Had the never-ending period, it finally ended... for only a week and a half, and now it's back :( Yesterday I was cranky, felt down, felt hungry, craved sweet things more. Should have known. Welcome back dear monthly visitor. Don't you know you are 2 weeks early? So... at least I understand the scale. Things were going down again and I got to 220.5 but then yesterday and the day before were 221-222. Whyyyyyy??? Now I know why :-P I have continued with my workouts and eating well so I knew the gain wasn't "real", but I thought maybe it was from building muscle with personal training. That may be part of it but I sure know that it is probably water retention due to getting my period again. Sigh.
At any rate, 9 lbs for the months is still awesome. It's the least I've had so far and I am definitely battling that fear that it is slowing way down now... but I am keeping my head in the game and hoping it will pick up slightly again. I am 11 pounds from losing 100 lbs, and I wanted to hit that mark by the time I hit 6 months. So my goal for this month is to meet or exceed 11 pounds lost. :) I'm going to do everything I can to make that happen!! Has 3 workouts already this week (Sun,Mon,Thurs) and have two more planned (Fri, Sun)soon :) Missed yesterday because I was so tired/cranky/down... at least now I know there was a reason.
So! Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back with my progress photos and video!
Now just a little more about clothes :) Again. LOL
Normally I wouldn't shop for clothes twice in one week. However, I went to another JC Penney trying to find the white vest in black (website says 'no longer available'), and I wanted to get the pink/grey striped hoodie in the purple/grey combo too. I found the hoodie, but not the vest. Fortunately I found another vest that I love even MORE!!! It's warmer and more suitable for the cold, which I will be needing because I am always cold now. It is size XL. I also bought one more long sleeve shirt, black/white stripes, in size LARGE!!! And two sweaters, in size LARGE!!! You could have knocked me over with a feather. I know it's just different pieces fitting differently, but it was awesome to find out I can wear XL, and then L, in the same week :-D
Here's my new stuffs...
The vest fits like a glove and makes me feel so thin. Plus it's warm and COZY! It turned cold when I was in the store (67 when I went in, 52 when I came out an hour later) so I wore it :) 52 felt like winter freeze... so I am reaaaaallly going to be in trouble when it's in the 20's and 30's. Ahhhh!
I also got some clothes from my sister in law. I didn't take pics of most of them but thought I would show off this cute dress:
It's a size XL from Target. Their other stuff doesn't fit me, so that's weird. But anyway... I have no idea if I'll get to wear this dress to anything during the time it fits me, but if so, at least it's hanging in my closet. :) She was just going to get rid of it anyway. Maybe if we go to a nice dinner out sometime soon I can wear a jacket over it. It might still be too cold though.
I finally lost some inches off my upper arm this month. About 1 1/2" I think. It was about the same for 3 months so YAY! I think in the above photo of the black dress, I can tell my arm is smaller. Whoooo!
That's it for now, back with Part Two soon!
This Months Stats:
Current Weight: 221 lbs

New Clothes, New Size
Hey everybody! First a quick update since my last post ~ no, my weight did not bounce back up and I am at 220.5 right now...yes, my period has actually stopped (thank God! finally!)...and yes I am feeling all better now :) Almost done with my antibiotic. Just a little scratchiness in my throat but nothing too bad.
Today is going to be my first personal training session!! It's not at Lifetime, it's at the independent place that works with bariatric patients. I'm aiming to do personal trianing Mondays and the group class Thursdays (both are strength training) in addition to my 3 cardio days per week. I'll let you know how it goes :)
OK so on to what this post is really about... new clothes!!
Everything I had left that fits is all t-shirts and tank tops. It is definitlely fall now, although we are still having a lot of days in the 70's, there are some in the 50's and 60's.... and this is Colorado so, it could snow tomorrow without warning lol. The only predictable thing about Colorado weather is the fact that it's unpredictable ;) or so they say.
So! I put together Fashion Show Video #2 :) Hope you enjoy!
The summary, if you don't have time or can't watch the video:
Stocked up on great layering pieces that will work for fall and winter. Long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, and a puffer vest. I got 10 pieces at JC Penney for $141.00... feel like I got a good value... and a lot of great stuff for the season- until it gets too big anyway :-D But since things are moving a little slower now, hopefully the clothes will last a little longer. Anyway, the big news of the video is that I went to plus sizes, tried on a bunch of 1X's and most of them were huge on me. A few things ran smaller and fit well, so I got those. Then I went downstairs to REGULAR sizes and tried on a bunch of XL's - which ALL fit. Well, all except one thing that was a little too tight. This felt great - first time ever fitting into regular XL's in my adult life. I also talk a little bit about body dismorphia and how I still look at the clothes and think they are way too small.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I ended up getting even MORE clothes after the happenings of this video - and I didn't have to spend any money!! Why? Because I am now the same size as my sister in law Melissa... and she went through her closet and got rid of a bunch of stuff she didn't need anymore. I went over there last night to try things on and I came home with like 6-7 tops, a couple sweatshirts and a pair of jeans! Whoo!! Score!
I had suspicions I was getting to be an XL because I tried on some clearance tops at Eddie Bauer last week in XXL that were too big. They didn't have them in XL so I didn't know for sure. My SIL keeps asking me if I can shop at Old Navy yet (plus is online only, so stores are only regular sizes)... and I said yes I think I'd fit in the XXL's. Well when I was at her house last night, I tried on some things in her closet also just to see - I tried several Old Navy XL's (not XXL!!) and they all fit too. I'm sure I'm still a ways away from fitting in a juniors XL for some of the cuter, trendier stuff I see in the stores...but hey, I am well on my way now to shopping in regular stores. :) YAY!
This pic is of my favorite top that I got (if you watched the video you already saw this pic)... I am posting this pic because it really makes me see/realize that I've lost 90 lbs. :) Love it.

New Products to Share
Not that long ago I wrote about the new scale we purchased. Well my review on that one is... it sucked. Haha. It was consistent in the store but at home, absolutely not. We couldn't get consistent readings and it was really frustrating.
We returned it and Ian did extensive research on Amazon reading reviews, and we selected a new one to try. Since we are VERY happy with it, it is worth sharing :)
This one is giving us consistent readings. I can step on it 3 times in a row and get within .2 of the same number, usually it stays completely the same. It's working that well for Ian too.
As an extra bonus - it seems to weigh us almost exactly the same as Dr Snyder's office!! We used it at home before our appointment with him and got the same number. Maybe not to the tenth, because we ignored anything after the decimal... but definitely the same whole number. So not only can I be happy that it is being consistent, I can also know it is an "official" weigh in meaning it's the same as my Dr's office :) So this one is working out awesome for us.
It allows you to set up 2 profiles. I am #2 so I hit the #2 button at the bottom right to turn it on and it knows I am 5'5", female, and 27 years old. It uses this to calculate my body fat percentage. What it tells me runs a little higher than the BMI chart. No worries there for me.
I highly recommend this scale if you are looking for a new one!
Now for the best sports bra, ever!!!!!
This is the sports bra I held up in my fashion show video and I hadn't tried it on yet. Not only did it fit me like a glove (in size 16)... it is the MOST comfortable sports bra I have EVER had. Soft, comfy, hit in all the right places, LOVE the low cut neck since I wear v-neck shirts mostly... the venting in the back is nice and cool. Also it has very very slight padding but it's just enough to keep nipples covered well AND it prevents that "smashed-down" look most sports bras give me. Since I'm only a B cup, usually they smash me flat. LOL. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!! The 'removable' pads come out easy in the wash so you might want to remove them yourself.

New Clothes & Closet Space
First order of business I would just like to report that I lost 6 more pounds! I've been doing a protein shake for breakfast every day for a little over a week now and it must really be helping. My tummy really likes it in the morning anyway because it doesn't seem to want food right away.... and adding the extra 30 grams of protein into my day seems to be very beneficial to the weight loss. My current weight is...
254 lbs. Awesome. I am now a mere 16 lbs away from my lowest ever adult weight - 238 - which I weighed in February 2007. I remember the date because buying my car was my reward to myself for making it to the lowest weight ever. Unfortunately it did not last and instead I gained over 75 lbs in the past 3 years... I have to keep reminding myself that this time is different!
What this post is really about though is... clothes! I got a chance to go shopping with my sister in law the other day at a store called Cato's. I found some cute things!! The most exciting thing though is that I went shopping there before surgery and nothing would really fit. This time, I needed mostly their smallest plus-size, some in the second smallest. That just felt so good! And I also got some AWESOME accessories! I am so in love with earrings, and necklaces are growing on me now, too.
Here are a couple of my ensembles!
Pink tank top and an awesome necklace... which I love because I can wear it with pink, green, blue, or purple!
And these fun pink earrings! Love them. All of their jewelry was so CHEAP!
And one of my favorite new outfits...
I never knew I could wear yellow! I guess with the extra tan lately, I can. :) The necklace is so awesome too with yellow, grey, silver and black. It will also go perfectly with my size 12 dress ~ someday, when it fits ;)
Also got this very lightweight, short sleeve grey sweater that I just love... and it goes great with this outfit as well as many other things!
I like this because I've been getting cold a lot. With the rapid weight loss I just never know when I'm going to be chilled. It was 96 today but I was so cold in the movie theater that even when I left and walked outside, I kept this sweater on. Crazy.
I got a couple other things too but don't have any more pictures. When I get around to wearing them I will take some. Mostly just more earrings and necklaces... but also a grey pair of capris SIZE 20!!!!! That must be a fluke because everything else I'm wearing is a size 22. But it still feels awesome anyway :)
Now for my closet! Here is my current wardrobe...
Everything that was deemed too small the last time I tried everything on... now fits!!! And I added in just a couple more things that are too small now, hanging all the way on the left.
I also took over another section of the closet... it's only fair right? The man should not have 3/4 of the closet!!! :) The reason I did this is... I now have PANTS!!!!! Before surgery I only had one pair of jeans that fit. Now that I am able to wear size 22 again, I pulled out my storage bin in the garage and tried them all on.... they all fit except for one that ran small. So now I have tons of jeans and even some brown pants, dress pants, khakis, and capris! Oh and a couple skirts too!
It is so great to have these all fitting now! I am also fitting into some other cute skirts not shown here. I will have to do another clothing post soon!!
